Description

This meeting will include a technical workshop followed by a nomikai.

Topics

This meeting will be a workshop where attendees use the guides available on the Wakame-vdc wiki to install and use Wakame-vdc on Centos 6.4. The materials required for installation can be found on the wiki but here's a quick summary.

  • A machine running Centos 6.4. Can be a virtual machine.
  • 2 gigabytes of free space in the /opt directory.
  • 1 gigabyte of RAM.
  • Some free disk space in the /var/lib directory. Started instances will go here. 1 gigabyte will be enough for a few instances.

We will have a VirtualBox image available with Centos 6.4 installed.

We intend this to be a very informal event. Even if you are not going to install Wakame-vdc with us and just want to hang out, you are most welcome to do so.
